About Me
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University, advised by Professor Laurent Lessard. My dissertation, Safe Near-Optimal Control of Nonlinear Systems, develops methods that combine approximate-HJB optimal control with control-barrier-function safety constraints. I previously earned a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. My research centers on nonlinear and optimal control, safety-critical control (CBFs, CLFs, MPC), and real-time convex optimization.
